Home Based Learning
Find out what your child needs to know for Home-Based Learning days in 2026, including the full schedule and how to join lessons from home.
The school will be adopting a floating Home-Based Learning (HBL@BDMS) day this year. Students will learn from home during HBL@BDMS using their Personal Learning Device (PLD).
Students will also engage in Student-Initiated Learning (SIL), where they can explore their interests beyond the curriculum. Secondary 1 students who have not received their PLD may borrow a device from school if needed.

Important Information:
1. Students do not need to report to school on HBL days.
2. Students must log in to the Video Meeting by 7.30am for attendance-taking and check-in. Students will be marked absent if they fail to do so.
3. Students will follow their timetable for the day, and complete the required learning and tasks as assigned by their subject teachers.
